Dasvidaniya is the trio's (Kailash Kher-Naresh-Paresh) second attempt at music direction after the disappointing Pranali. The album has has only 3 songs, but still manages to create an impact.
Here's how :
1. Alvida : This one's a typical Kailash Kher song, reminding you of his superb teri deewani in parts. Great work.
2. Mumma : Starting with some soft guitar strumming, like Allah ke bande (which was Kher's ticket to fame), here comes another song after Maa(TZP) that anybody would love to dedicate to his/her mother. The simple tune, good lyrics and Kher's rustic voice make this song a good listen.
3. Muskura : This song is characterized by the generous usage of the accordion in the background and Sonu Nigam's soothing vocals. Nothing extraordinary here, but the song's not bad either.
Those who have heard Kailash Kher before will definitely like this album. Those who haven't, start with Dasvidaniya and you won't be disappointed!
